The Patek Philippe World Time ref. 5110G-001 is one of the modern classics of the manufacture's travel-watch collection. Introduced as part of the ref. 5110 family in 2000, it revived Patek Philippe's historic World Time complication in a refined and highly wearable format. The reference remained in production until 2006, when it was succeeded by the larger ref. 5130. Christie's
The 37 mm case is crafted from 18k white gold and surrounds an elegant silvered dial with a finely guilloché central section. Around it are a rotating 24-hour day/night ring and an outer city disc displaying 24 reference cities, allowing the wearer to read the corresponding time zones simultaneously.
