Introduced in 2003 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Submariner, the Submariner Date ref. 16610LV, commonly nicknamed the “Kermit”, became one of the most recognizable references of the five-digit Submariner generation.

The watch combines the traditional 40 mm stainless-steel Oyster case with its signature green aluminum bezel insert and a black Maxi Dial, characterized by larger luminous hour markers and broader hands than those found on the standard 16610 of the period.

This particular example is presented in New Old Stock (NOS) condition, an especially desirable characteristic for a discontinued sports Rolex, indicating a watch preserved in essentially unused condition.

Inside beats the robust automatic Rolex Caliber 3135, featuring a quickset date and approximately 48 hours of power reserve. The watch is completed by its stainless-steel Oyster bracelet and Oysterlock safety clasp.
