The Omega Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary Edition commemorates the Silver Snoopy Award presented by NASA to Omega in 1970, recognizing the brand’s critical role in the success of the Apollo 13 mission. Crafted in stainless steel, the watch retains the classic 42 mm Speedmaster Professional case, paired with a striking silver dial featuring blue accents inspired by NASA mission patches.
The dial is adorned with Snoopy depicted in relief at 9 o’clock, while the blue ceramic bezel with white enamel tachymeter scale adds a contemporary touch. On the reverse, the sapphire case back reveals a dynamic animated scene: Snoopy travels around the Moon when the chronograph is activated, powered by a patented mechanical animation linked to the chronograph seconds.
At its heart beats the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 3861, a hand-wound movement offering exceptional precision, magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss, and METAS certification.
