Introduced in the 2000s, the Santos 100 features a substantial square case with softly curved lugs and the signature exposed screws along the bezel, reinforcing its distinctive architectural presence.

In examples fitted with aftermarket diamonds, stones are added externally to the bezel or case surfaces, departing from Cartier’s original factory specification. While visually striking and often favored for their bold aesthetic, such modifications generally reduce collectability compared to untouched factory examples.
