Crafted entirely in stainless steel, the watch preserves the unmistakable Royal Oak architecture introduced by Gérald Genta in 1972, including the octagonal bezel with exposed hexagonal screws, sharply faceted case geometry, and integrated bracelet construction. The deep blue “Grande Tapisserie” dial remains one of the collection’s most iconic configurations, offering remarkable tonal variation under changing light conditions while preserving excellent legibility through applied white gold hour markers and luminous hands. Compared to its predecessor, the 15500ST features a revised dial layout with repositioned date window and slightly more open proportions, contributing to a cleaner and more contemporary appearance.
