Introduced in the mid-2000s, it features the signature blue-black horizontally brushed dial, a tone that shifts under the light from deep navy to charcoal.
Its asymmetrical layout is iconic: a power-reserve indicator at 10 o’clock, a moonphase with date by hand at 7 o’clock, and small seconds at 4 o’clock. These complications are driven by the ultra-slim Caliber 240 PS IRM C LU, powered by a 22k gold micro-rotor—one of Patek Philippe’s most celebrated automatic movements.
The 40 mm stainless-steel case combines polished and satin finishes, retaining the unmistakable Nautilus architecture designed by Gérald Genta.
