The Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 126715CHNR, affectionately known among collectors as the “Root Beer”, is a striking reinterpretation of one of Rolex’s most iconic travel watches. Crafted entirely in 18k Everose gold, Rolex’s proprietary rose-gold alloy, this watch combines contemporary luxury with nostalgic design cues drawn from vintage GMT models of the 1960s and 1970s.

Its 40 mm Oyster case houses a bi-color Cerachrom bezel insert in black and brown ceramic, a modern take on the classic Root Beer color scheme. The 24-hour graduations are engraved and filled with pink-gold PVD coating, perfectly harmonizing with the case and bracelet. Beneath the sapphire crystal lies a black lacquer dial adorned with applied Everose gold hour markers and hands filled with long-lasting Chromalight luminescence for optimal legibility in all lighting conditions.

Powering the watch is the in-house Caliber 3285, a next-generation automatic movement featuring Rolex’s Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring, and an impressive 70-hour power reserve. The movement is Superlative Chronometer certified, guaranteeing precision within ±2 seconds per day.

The watch is completed by a solid Everose Oyster bracelet with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and Easylink extension system for on-the-fly comfort adjustment.
