Produced from 2000 to 2016, it was the first Daytona to feature Rolex’s in-house caliber 4130, marking a major milestone in the collection’s evolution. Its 40mm Oyster case, made entirely of 904L stainless steel, is both durable and sporty, paired with a matching Oyster bracelet for a sleek and unified aesthetic.

The 116520 features a clean, highly legible white or black dial, depending on the version, with three subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock used to measure elapsed time for up to 12 hours. Its engraved tachymeter bezel enhances its racing pedigree, allowing wearers to measure average speeds over a set distance—paying homage to its motorsport heritage.

At the heart of the watch is the Rolex Caliber 4130, a self-winding mechanical movement with a 72-hour power reserve, known for its accuracy, reliability, and efficiency. This movement includes a column wheel and vertical clutch system for smooth chronograph engagement and precise timing.
